Appearance & Mannerisms
Body: Khuj'a is a medium-height miquo'te with a fluffy tail and fluffy, long hair which are both violet-silver in color. He often wears flashy or high-class clothes and favors purple with gold accents. He sometimes disguises himself with wigs or illusion magicks for fun or to avoid being recognized, but never strays far from ornate, flashy, and sexy. His face is feminine with soft features and striking pale violet eyes, and he usually wears a light touch of pinkish makeup on his eyes and lips.

Mannerisms: He has a rather effeminate, sassy strut and poise, with a stereotypical 'rich anime woman' laugh when he is particularly amused. He has a habit of standing with a hand upon his hips, tossing his hair, and standing apart from crowds and groups even when associated with them.

Voice: Khuj'a speaks with a lilted, high pitched tone that one might mistake for a woman's but is closer to that of a choir boy. He is capable of a fair range, though, including rasping and aggressive growls when angry or deeper tones when upset or expressing conviction. His accent is a very proper and elegant one, just one way he seeks to separate himself from others as distinguished and high-value.

Abilities & Activities
Job/Income: Khuj'a made a good deal of gil from adventuring and gathering, as well as from his work in host clubs, He has considerable saving ands continues to do both kinds of work regularly, though he is focusing on mammet minions to do his work and build an empire. He is wealthy, but no especially so at the moment.
Magic: He is not a master Summoner, but is well-versed in the art and decent at red magic and some basic aether manipulation. He is a mid-powered character, a seasoned adventurer who is formidable in battle but not especially so.

Physical: Khuj'a is flexible, fast and somewhat tough, but he does not have a body fit for martial arts or heavy labor. He can wield a weapon such as a dagger, shortbow, or rapier with finesse.

Senses: Khuj'a has a decent aether sense like any good mage should, but he can just barely 'actually see it.
​
Transportation: He prefers riding horses or chocobo rather than long walks. He can use aetherytes but gets tired out or sick by more than two or three trips in a day. He can fly and float, but not over very long distances or heights and it consumes energy and aether to do so.

Performance & Arts: Khuj'a is a decent singer in choir/operatic style with a tenor to mezzo range, and can play the violin well. He's a good dancer and knows several different ballroom-style steps as well as sensual dance.
Behavior
In Battle
Prone to overconfidence, Khuj'a will jump in and try to steal the show from a group. He is embarrassed by defeat and becomes angry. If cooperating with others he will typically take the lead and command others, doubting their ability to make a good plan. He is clever and uses magic from a distance while avoiding as much harm as he can, even when drawing an enemy's attention.

Toward strangers
He will behave politely in most cases and defaults to manipulative behavior, but is blunt when someone offends his senses. He will typically express his opinions without filter however the conversation goes and won't beat around the bush when he notices something about someone that might be useful to him. However, if he's feeling any sense of compassion for someone's plight, he won't be so direct about it. He is happy to make exchanges with others and foster good business relations or alliances, but keeps his emotional distance and never trusts easily.
Toward friends
If Khuj'a considers someone a friend, he will not admit it outright and even deny it. His actions will show it though, as he is very protective and even loyal, and will begin to pamper them in a similar way he does to himself even if he might speak condescendingly while doing so. He'll become very angry and vengeful if any harm comes to someone he cares about, and is very supportive and encouraging to them. He takes the time to listen to or help friends in ways that he would never bother to for a stranger.
Toward crushes
Since he believes very much in 'only the strong survive', being supportive is his first love language. If he really likes someone, he might pop up around them often and encourage them to grow, perfect a skill, or become more powerful in some way. He will pour on compliments like honey on crumpets, about both personality and looks since he loves receiving them himself. Depending on the dynamic, he might even be stalker-like and try to show off a lot to win their desire.

Toward lovers/partners
Once Khuj'a feels attached to someone, he wants to be by their side often and has a high sex drive that he will direct mostly at the one he has chosen as a lover, to the point of possessiveness. He can either be very devoted or very controlling, but also extremely caring and protective.

Toward enemies , traitors, or nuisances
Even to a minor nuisance, Khuj'a can sometimes display violent tendencies depending on his mood. He is often conniving toward enemies and loves to add insult to injury, seeing a grudge as more of a pursuit of revenge than to simply stop someone from doing something that is bothering him. He loves to keep memories of triumph, and would rather do things like seal his enemies away to suffer for eternity or turn them into statues or extort them into servitude than to kill them. However, he's not above a quick and dirty eradication if short on time or patience.
He is the type to keep grudges, so someone who really crosses him the wrong way will absorb his thoughts and certainly not escape his ire in the forgiving embrace of time.
Psychology
Khuj'a is my tsundere character, and I modelled his behavior off of Kuja in the Dissidia series. He isn't completely evil, but mostly selfish and has a hard time accepting that he does actually want to have friends and do good things. He is quick to express opinions and sass or show how inferior he believes others to be compared to himself, but he is very slow to admit to feelings and understands them to be a form of weakness. He believes no one can be trusted and that the strong always end up controlling the weak, so he will do almost anything to gain power be it political, material, or magical.
Since he has always been alone, he is very comfortable with it and worries that working with others will slow him down or cause more trouble than anything else. He always wants to show off and prove himself superior in groups to avoid being seen as weak in any way, and because he does enjoy praise and attention. He absolutely hates someone else stealing the show or being the central focus and will separate himself from situations where it keeps happening and he isn't being noticed enough. Why spend time around a bunch of idiots with bad taste?
He views this second chance at life not as some blessing to be grateful for, but the result of his own cleverness and strong will. Therefore, while he is not too attached to life and is ambitious, he lacks a sense of gratitude or appreciation for small things and sees himself as inherently deserving of what he wants. He believes rather certainly that he cannot actually die, and the power of his will should allow him to return to Dissidia and then escape to a new life back again and again, though there is no way of proving this true. Over time he may become more mature and refined, and patient with the world...or just more clever in finding ways to mold everything around him to his desire.
Although he is emotional, he truly is geared towards creating a peaceful life for himself to enjoy. He is hedonistic and wants to experience as much fun, novelty, and luxury as he can. He has a potentially to develop into a more good or neutral character when exposed to the right people and making the right friends. If he can be made to see the value in life, receive enough genuine love and care, and feel empathy for enough people, he will become less inclined to do harm to others for his own benefit and be overall less narcissistic.

Bad Romance:
Khuj'a could make for interesting rollercoaster romance stories with a character of any morality, as long as he finds something in them that is particularly interesting or respectable. A lady who is exceptionally elegant, beautiful, patient and kind? A man who is extremely powerful, charismatic and cool? Someone very intelligent who always outsmarts him or offers him a chance for self-improvement? Perhaps someone with a past he relates strongly to and can easily empathize with? Friendship:
Perhaps you've got someone who could form a friendship with Khuj'a - I'm interested in writing any story that adds to his personal development. Whether they're enjoying teahouses and antique shopping together or going on crazy adventures to dig up forbidden knowledge.

Money and Power:
Khuj'a will jump on opportunities that offer him something great. Is it a massive mountain of gil, some powerful ancient magic artifact, or a chance to rule a business empire? He's definitely game, at almost any cost.

Freeing the People:
Khuj'a cares a lot about the ideals of freedom and will likely intervene in situations where people are being oppressed or someone is enslaved. This is one of the few times he will behave in an outright heroic or 'good' way, though he might not admit why he did it. But, he has just enough reputation enough that someone might seek him at the adventurer's guild, or ask for his help if passing by.
Experiencing Life:
Khuj'a enjoys chances to experience new delights or see new places. Something as simple as a guided trip to a place he's never been, or a showcase of exotic foreign foods might catch a good deal of his interest.
~~~ Story Thus Far... ~~~
During another painfully boring cycle of the Dissidia realm, in which powerful warriors from various times and worlds are summoned to help squabbling gods and sustain its existence, Kuja perfected control over portals and found a way to escape and live a new life in any realm he could reach. Though he couldn't quite choose the place, it didn't matter - he made the jump and was reborn into the world of Hydaelyn. As a child, he grew up in a small Moonkeeper village and was very quiet and obstinate. Whatever they named him as a baby matters not to him, he insisted on keeping his original name (though written a bit more fitting for the world he lived in). He left without intention to keep in touch with his family, frustrated greatly with the process of growing from a child and being a 'slave' to adults around him until he was old enough to walk off on his own. The clever child made it on his own and eventually settled in the city of Ul'dah hoping to fill his pockets with gold, taking on whatever odd jobs he could find and learning what materials were most valuable on the market. In a trip to the Shroud, he met someone who offered to teach him about the recently restored long-lost art of Summoning for the right price, and he began to study Arcanima dutifully so that he could comprehend the spells and work his way up to wielding some of the most powerful magics known to the world.

Eventually during his adventurer and treasure-hunter days, he bought a property in the wealthy city of Ul'dah, and turned his attention to bigger and easier things. He found the night life of the city was bustling, and promised a great deal of gil and connections. So, he decided to start working as a host and courtesan in several high class establishments. This turned out a bit less exciting and fast than he'd imagined, so eventually he got bored with it and began to look for bigger and better ways to gain money and power and create himself the luxurious manor that he wanted.

A message in the Honeybee Inn mentioned something about mammets - dolls that could be animated with magic to do one's bidding. This lit up a light bulb over Khuj'a's head - what if he could build an army of mammet servants and have them work for him, making him into an overnight multi-millionaire? People were too difficult, but mammets? They weren't even alive, they'd simply go out and do his will. What's more, he didn't even have to feel guilty about it since unlike the black mages he enslaved in his past, mammets were truly just objects of wood and stone. He decided to dedicate time to learning to craft and enchant the perfect dolls.
